Powerwolf announced for Bloodstock

Powerwolf, and Hospital Of Deathare the latest brace of acts added to the line-up for Bloodstocks 10th anniversary festival.

German metallers Powerwolf will headline the Sophie Lancaster stage on Friday. The band are looking forward to their exclusive debut UK appearance at Bloodstock, guitarist Matthew Greywolf revealed, "It's a big honour for us to celebrate the metal mass at this legendary festival. This will be our first time in the UK, and getting the chance to perform at the country's biggest Metal festival is incredible. We can't wait to unleash mayhem there!"

Joining them will be British Thrash maniacs Hospital Of Death.

The Friday night replacement headliner will be announced on Tuesday 15th June.

Bloodstock's 10th Anniversary will take place from Friday 13th until Sunday 15th August 2010 at Catton Hall, Walton-on-Trent, in South Derbyshire.

They join a line-up that includes headliners Twisted Sister, Children Of Bodom, and Fear Factory, plus GWAR, Gojira, Korpiklaani, Obituary, Suffocation, Behemoth, and more. As well as the international heavy metal bands across three stages, Bloodstock offers a large selection of merchandise stalls, metal karaoke, a campsite and a wide selection of food and bars.

Tickets are available and include camping priced at £99.95 for adults and £40 for children, and £30 for a campervan ticket, and £10 for a car parking pass. Day tickets are expected to be on sale at a later date. To buy tickets, click here.
