Southsayers meets Red Earth Collective for One Love Festival

One Love Festival has today announced more acts from across the globe of Reggae and Dub music.

The latest acts confirmed include Soothsayers meets Red Earth Collective who will be bringing their mash-up of jazz, Afrobeat, dub and funk to One Love Festival created in recognition of the 30th anniversary of one of the world's greatest ever rock gigs, Bob Marley's famous 1978 One Love concert.

Also confirmed are Jamaican superstars Lutan Fyah and Michael Prophet. Organisers have announced that the spoken word area will be headlined by Benjamin Zephaniah.

Dutch Reggae star Bo Marley completes the new additions to the multi-cultural, multi-ethical, free trade and environmentally-friendly event, buzzing with creativity, fun, ideas and soul.

Festival Organiser, Dan Wiltshire, commented, "London is a long time coming and we can't wait to hold the festival in its new setting. It's going to be a really special event -­ we've had some really positive feedback and there has been a huge buzz about 2010."

Confirmed for 2010 are headliners Luciano, and Mikey General alongside acts that include Adrian Sherwood, Conscious Sounds feat King General, Daddy Colonel, David Rodigan, Dub Rockers, Earl Gateshead, Mungos Hi Fi, Muscle Head, Nereus Joseph, Papa Levi, Roger Robin, Rootikal DJs, Ruben Da Silva, Saxon Sound System, Senior Sandy, Silent Disco, Trevor Sax, Trojan Sound System, Twilight Circus Dub Sound System, and Unity Hi FI. The festival is ran over 3 days during the weekend of Friday 6th until Sunday 8th August 2010, at a new location in 2010 Hainault Forest Country Park, in London. The camping festival event includes Spoken Word, food from around the world and a Fair Trade village with a special healing area, and a Multi Media Tent plus a very special 'Pirate themed Fancy Dress Caribbean Carnival Procession'!! That is going to be held on Sunday 8th August at 3pm.

Tickets are on sale priced as follows:
Regular weekend tickets including camping adults £90, children (under 14) £50, and family tickets are priced at £200 (2 adult, 2 Children).
Day tickets are priced at £35 for Saturday and £25 for Sunday for adults. Children day tickets are £25 for Saturday, and £15 for Sunday.
Live in vehicles are priced at £30 per vehicle.
Car park ticket £5.
Children tickets are for all kids aged under 14, and they must be accompanied by adults.

A special payment plan has been introduced to help festival goers spread the cost of their ticket into two payments.

The Festival has also kept true to its environmental roots, boasting 100% compost toilets, a target of 80% recycling, solar showers within the campsite and suitable noise management policies­ including the infamous Silent Disco.
