eFestivals can exclusively reveal more acts including Macka B and Symarip have been confirmed for this year's for this year's family friendly, old school vibe Endorse It In Dorset.

Reggae legend Macka B the British-born reggae artist, performer and activist has a career spanning almost 30 years in the United Kingdom and Jamaica. Joining him on the bill is Symarip who return to Endorse It to bring their ska and reggae band from the United Kingdom, and also making a return are Henry's Phonograph.

Also confirmed as returning to the site near Shaftesbury, in Dorset is the teenage band tent Purple Purge showcasing young talent with the first acst to be confirmed as appearing there including The Pretty Marx, Zac Harris, Back To Mono, and Alfie Tyson Brown (DJ set).

This year the Bus Bar area is being expanded, with its own stage and special busking area for those impromptu acoustic sets. Festival goers can bring their own instruments and show everyone what they've got - there may even be a booking for a future EIID appearance if the organisers are impressed.

The line up which is by no means as yet complete, there's plenty more acts still to be announced. To whet your appetite for the line-up of who is playing so far over the weekend of Friday 6th to Sunday 8th August includes The Damned, Eat Static, Credit to The Nation, Subhumans, Rhythm-ites, Pauline Black, SubGiant, Pronghorn, DJ Scratchy from The Clash, Vice Squad, Spunge, The Highliners, The Urban Voodoo Machine, N.U.M.B, Who's Afear'd, The Boot Hill All Stars, Farmageddon, Kentucky Fight Club, and Surfin' Turnips. More up-and-coming local bands, Dorset favourites, international stars and DJs will be announced over the coming months for the festival's three tented stages that run into the early hours.

Famous for it's 'old school' festival vibe, Endorse It also features 'Punk Karaoke' where all-comers can sing on stage with a live band, beer tents with proper beer and cider, a 'Ladies Day' for those that like to dress up, and side shows and entertainers - all designed to appeal to all ages including families.
