Tickets went on sale at 9am today for T in the Park festival held over the weekend of Friday 9th to Sunday 11th July at Balado, Scotland sold out in less than 90 mins this morning. The bulk of tickets were gone within an hour leaving day tickets and travel packages but these were subsequently snapped up.

T in the Park strongly advises fans not to buy tickets from any unofficial sources or website auctions, as not only will they have to over the odds but there is a high chance that the ticket will not exist or will be a fake.

Geoff Ellis, Festival Director at DF Concerts dsaid, "We know that we have an exceptionally strong line-up for 2010 but you can't be complacent, it's still momentous for us to sell out now as it was the first time we did and we're really delighted. It's great to know 85,000 music lovers think we've made the right choices and can't wait for July 9th, and we can't wait to put the best T in the Park yet on for them."

There are a very small amount of Residence accommodation packages still available. To buy one of these packages from Ticketmaster click here.
