Benicassim announces a Vampire Weekend

plus Leftfield, Klaxons, The Courteeners, Calvin Harris, and more

Vampire Weekend, and Leftfield top the raft of new additions confirmed for Spain's The International Benicàssim Festival, FIB Heineken.

Also confirmed are Jonston, Southern Arts Society, and local acts Los Ilegales, and Triangulo De Amor Bizarro for the festival which is held near Valencia, in Spain from Thursday 15th until Sunday 20th July.

As well as this diverse array of musical performers, the festival has an extensive bill of non-musical entertainment, including dance, art, theatre, fashion, silent disco and short films.

With camping thrown in with the ticket price, all night music over 4 days, and sited just walking distance from the beach and a huge water park.

There's the usual markets, bars, and food outlets. Several other celebrations of the arts take place within the Benicassim festival, including a short film festival, a fashion weekend, art exhibition, and a festival of dance and choreography, with educational arts courses on top of all this provided by local university, Universidad Jaume I.
