Status Quo have been announced for this year's 30th anniversary Fairport's Cropredy Convention.

Status Quo, who collect their OBEs from Her Majesty the Queen at Buckingham Palace today, have been confirmed as headlining on Thursday, 12th August, at this year's Cropredy Festival.

The duo who were awarded their 'gongs' in this year's New Year's Honours List join the previously announced acts of Bellowhead, Little Feat, and Rick Wakeman have been confirmed and Fairport Convention are expected to headline, as is traditional, on the Saturday. Also confirmed are Mabon, The Dixie Bee-Liners, The Selecter, Thea Gilmore, Martyn Joseph, The Martin Taylor Quartet, Breabach, James Findlay, Little Johnny England, Leatherat, and The Tindalls.

A full line-up is expected soon for this year's 30th anniversary of the festival which will take place from Thursday 12th to Saturday 14th August 2010.

Tickets are not yet on sale. Ticket prices have been announced and early bird tickets will be available until 1st June, priced as follows:
An adult weekend ticket £85 (full price £95)
A weekend camping ticket £30
Adult Friday, and Saturday ticket £75 (full price £85)
Adult Friday/Saturday camping ticket (for 13th & 14th August only) £25
Saturday only day ticket £55 (full price £65)
Tickets for children under 12 years of age, are free. Children must be accompanied by an adult purchasing a ticket.

Tickets will go on sale on Monday 1st March 2010. It's a very friendly festival with great ales, no sell-out out to rampant commercialism, and no huge ticket prices.
