eFestivals can exclusively reveal that New Beautiful South, Toumani Diabate, King Creosote, 12 Stone Toddler, and One String Loose, will be appearing at this summer's Wychwood Festival held from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th June in 2010.

New Beautiful South
Resurrecting the songs and the sounds of the Beautiful South, the New Beautiful South will be presenting their classic hits such as 'Old Red Eyes Is Back', 'Rotterdam', 'Don't Marry Her', 'Perfect 10' and 'A Little Time' to the main stage for an upbeat singalong on Sunday. Earlier in the day the main stage will also play host to 12 Stone Toddler who'll be bringing their boisterous high energy live showto blow away the cobwebs. The audience in the Big Top on Sunday can enjoy the lilting Scottish vocals of King Creosote.

On the Saturday the audience in front of the main stage will be able to enjoy the soothing strings of Kora playing virtuoso Toumani Diabate, and Welsh Folk-fusion band One String Loose.

The festival at Cheltenham Racecourse, in Gloucestershire isn't just about the music. The festival have teamed up with the comedy from from the Fat Lil's comedy club in Witney to bring a programme of comedic entertainment in association with eFestivals.co.uk. Lots of laughter should be had every evening, and the first confirmations for the weekend can now be revealed.

Headlining on Friday night will be Ray Peacock, one of the busiest and best comics out there on the circuit. A regular warm up comic to get audiences smiling before many of the current crop of TV shows, he's also appeared on screen in Dr Who, Skins, Doctors and No Heroics. Add this to his hit podcast (Peacock and Gamble, well worth checking out on iTunes).

Performing on the Sunday night will be Iszi Lawrence who was part of Wil Hodgson's Perrier award winning show 'The Passion of the Hodgson' Which led her onto her own sell out Edinburgh Fringe Show 'A Matter Of Tact' in 2009. If you fancy a brief insight into the world of Iszi, she hosts a weekly podcast over at www.sundayssupplement.com.

Craig Murray who cuts his comedy teeth as the resident compere at London's 'The Funny Side, Covent Garden' will be MCing proceedings on the Friday night, and former host of 'Escape to the Country', Nick Page, will be the MC on Sunday.

Acts previously confirmed include Levellers who will headline on Friday, with Saturday and Sunday headliners are expected to be announced in February. Plus Dreadzone, Pauline Black, The Selecter, The Leisure Society, John Smith, Mr Tumble, and Adrian Edmondson & The Bad Shepherds also confirmed. Adult weekend tickets are priced at £110, youth (aged 16-18)/concession weekend tickets are priced at £85, and 10-15 year old weekend tickets are priced at £50 with all children aged under 10 able to attend for free (Max 2 per adult) then £10 for each additional child. Disabled 2 for 1 weekend tickets are priced at £110.

This year Wychwood will be introducing a small charge for camping for the concession and adult tickets. A weekend camping pass is priced at 20, a concession/youth weekend camping pass is available at an early bird price of £10. Children under 15 can camp for free, live in vehicle/campervan passes are priced at £40 (in addition to a camping pass for each person). Wychwood will offer the usual quality of campsite facilities and in 2010 the showers will be free.
