Pearl Jam and Rammstein for Spain's Bilbao BBK Live

Pearl Jam, and Rammstein have been announced as headliners for BBK Live which takes place on the outskirts of Bilbao (north coast of Spain) from Friday 8th until Sunday 10th July.

After recently touring North America, Australia and New Zealand, Pearl Jam will be presenting their ninth studio album 'Backspacer' to their European fans. 'Backspacer', released in September last year, has already reached Number 1 in the US charts.

The German dance-metal band Rammstein, who back in October released their latest album 'Liebe ist für alle da', will take their hugely over the top show which usually includes the use of pyrotechnical devices to the festival.

The 40,000 capacity festival has two main stages, guaranteeing that acts won't overlap, there are two dance tents, a pop tent, a chillout area, food stalls and a campsite. Doors open at 4pm every day, and close at 3am every night.

Tickets are priced at 95 euro (approx £85) for three day pass including camping.

Getting there

Two low cost airlines operate direct flights from London to Bilbao. Check Easyjet (from Standstead) and Clickair (from Heathrow). Iberia also operates daily direct flights from Gatwick airport. Ryanair operates daily flights to Santander, just an hour bus ride to Bilbao.

From Bilbao airport there are regular public buses to central Bilbao. Once in central Bilbao the festival provides shuttle buses to the site or it's a 15 minute walk to from central Bilbao.

Age Restrictions

Those aged under 18 will have to be accompanied by an adult.
