Bloodstock Open Air festival has announced that Children Of Bodom, and Fear Factory are to co-headline the Saturday night next summer.
Also added to the bill are cult Finns Amorphis, who'll also perform on the Saturday.
They join a line-up that includes established and unsigned metal bands with Korpiklaani, GWAR, Obituary, Suffocation, Leaves Eyes, Doro, Devin Townsend, and Behemoth playing UK festival exclusives, as well as Cannibal Corpse, Dream Evil, Andromeda, Ross The Boss, and Rage. For the line-up details, and rumours as available please click here.
Bloodstock will take place from Friday 13th until Sunday 15th August 2010 at Catton Hall, Walton-on-Trent, in South Derbyshire. The aim is to offer a traditional metal event comparable to those regularly seen in Europe (but on a smaller scale of 6,000-10,000 capacity), and capturing the spirit of the original Monsters Of Rock shows which used to take place at Castle Donington during the 1980's and 1990's.
As well as the international heavy metal bands across three stages, Bloodstock offers a large selection of merchandise stalls, metal karaoke, a campsite and a wide selection of food and bars.
Early bird tickets are available until Christmas and include camping priced at £89.95 for adults and £39.95 for children, and £30 for a campervan ticket, and £10 for a car parking pass. Day tickets are expected to be on sale at a later date. To buy tickets, click here.
