Another appearance of thrash metal's big four tour has been announced with Sonisphere Switzerland now confirmed to have Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax on the line-up.

The big four of thrash metal, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax will now appear at the one day event in Wil near Zurich, in Switzerland, in addition to their Poland and Czech Republic appearances.

Metallica's Lars Ulrich said, "Who would have thought that more than 25 years after its inception, thrash metal's big 4 would not only still be around and more popular than ever, but will now play together for the first time...what a mindfuck! Bring it on!"

The four acts will be joined on the bill on Friday 18th June 2010 by Heaven And Hell, and Motorhead.

Tickets for Sonisphere Switzerland will go on sale on Monday 21st December.
