The Big Session Festival sold out and we had our best ever attendance at Summer Sundae, showing that music fans really value and appreciate the two events."The statement ends speculation over fears for the two events' futures following the suspension of members of staff including De Montfort Hall boss and festival organiser Richard Haswell pending a Leicester City Council investigation into the venue.

The suspensions were 'normal procedure' in such circumstances and should definitely not be interpreted as an indication the members of staff concerned are guilty of any serious misconduct.
The Big Session Festival dates for next year have been confirmed as Friday 18th until Sunday 20th June 2010, with Early Bird tickets on sale from Monday 7th December 2009.
The dates for the tenth Summer Sundae Weekender have been confirmed as Friday 13th to Sunday 15th August 2010, with Early Bird tickets on sale from Tuesday 12th January 2010.
