this weekend's Hellfire shrinks to a two day event

absorbing most of Friday's line-up into four stages

This weekend's Hellfire Festival will now be a two day event, with most of Friday's line-up now playing over the four stages.

The festival which takes place at the NEC, Birmingham, West Midlands has announced on it's myspace (here) a new two day line-up replacing the original three day line-up, ending much speculation on the festival's official forum.

By adding an additional stage the event has managed to only lost a few acts from the bill which will now run on Saturday 7th until Sunday 8th November 2009 alongside the Music Live equipment exhibition which still runs for the whol three days including the Friday.

The line-up over four stages includes headliners Fields of the Nephilim, and Saxon, plus Senser, My Dying Bride, Anvil, Tesseract, Benediction, Cancer Bats, Viking Skull, No Made Sense, Trigger The Bloodshed, Xerath, The Plight, Blakfish, Cinders Fall, Malefice, Rise To Remain, Spit Like This, Sacred Mother Tongue, October File, The More I See, Fei Comodo, Esoterica, Outcry Collective, and more, with Friday headliner CKY pulled from the bill.
