Dream Evil, Suffocation, Doro, and Leaves Eyes have been confirmed for next year's Bloodstock Open Air festival.
Goth Metallers Leaves Eyes will be flying over to the UK next August for their only UK appearance of the year.
Frontlady Liv Kristine said, "The norsemen and women are back on the British Isles! We are looking forward to perform "Njord" live at Bloodstock Open Air, 2010. This will surely be a special event for both audience and band as the concept of our third and latest release is heavily influenced by the Vikings' experience and influence on British ground in the Middle-Ages."
Band mate and co-vocalist/keyboard player Alexander Krull added, "It's great that we are able to play Bloodstock next year! Last time it didn't work out because of our time schedule in the studio, so we are really looking forward to this show! All our British friends and fans told us to play Bloodstock which is a really great metal festival! See you all there!"
US death metallers Suffocation have also been added to the bill for Bloodstock on the Sunday making their only UK festival appearance and German metallers Doro have been also been added to a line-up that will include established and unsigned metal bands with Obituary, Devin Townsend, Behemoth, Ross The Boss, Andromeda, and Rage already confirmed.
Bloodstock will take place from Friday 13th until Sunday 15th August 2010 at Catton Hall, Walton-on-Trent, in South Derbyshire. The aim is to offer a traditional metal event comparable to those regularly seen in Europe (but on a smaller scale of 6,000-10,000 capacity), and capturing the spirit of the original Monsters Of Rock shows which used to take place at Castle Donington during the 1980's and 1990's.
As well as the international heavy metal bands across three stages, Bloodstock offers a large selection of merchandise stalls, metal karaoke, a campsite and a wide selection of food and bars.
Early bird tickets, including camping are on sale priced at £89.95 for adults and £39.95 for children, and £30 for a campervan ticket, and £10 for a car parking pass. Day tickets are expected to be on sale at a later date. To buy tickets, click here.
