Behemoth are the latest act to be confirmed for next year's Bloodstock Open Air festival.

The Polish extreme black death-metallers have been confirmed to play on the Sunday as a UK festival exclusive in 2010.

Expect them to be joined by a full line-up of established and unsigned metal bands with Obituary, Ross The Boss, Andromeda, and Rage already confirmed.

Bloodstock will take place from Friday 13th until Sunday 15th August 2010 at Catton Hall, Walton-on-Trent, in South Derbyshire. The aim is to offer a traditional metal event comparable to those regularly seen in Europe (but on a smaller scale of 6,000-10,000 capacity), and capturing the spirit of the original Monsters Of Rock shows which used to take place at Castle Donington during the 1980's and 1990's.

As well as the international heavy metal bands across three stages, Bloodstock offers a large selection of merchandise stalls, metal karaoke, a campsite and a wide selection of food and bars.

Early bird tickets, including camping are on sale priced at £89.95 for adults and £39.95 for children, and £30 for a campervan ticket, and £10 for a car parking pass. Day tickets are expected to be on sale at a later date. To buy tickets, click here.
