Calvin Harris announced for Liverpool Music Week festival

Calvin Harris has been added to the line-up for this year's Liverpool Music Week festival.

The self proclaimed reinventor of disco will be performing at The Liverpool 02 Academy on Tuesday 10th November, tickets will go on sale at 9am Thursday 10th September.

This Friday will see tickets go on sale for the recently confirmed Seasick Steve appearance at the Olympia Theatre on Saturday 7th November.

The event will also be announcing the free festival shows in addition to the Twisted Wheel, and The Bays shows, in the up and coming weeks that take place across dozens of Liverpool's city-centre venues and are the heart beat of the festival.

Other acts confirmed to perform at Liverpool Music Week 2009 for Liverpool Music Week are Kasabian, The Specials, The Enemy, Reverend & The Makers, and Seasick Steve.

Liverpool Music Week is billed as the UK's largest indoor winter music festival and will be staging over 80 events, across 26 venues and will play host to over 250 live bands. The festival format is a combination of ticketed shows and free shows, with artists including the well known live acts, and new emerging talent.
