Them Crooked Vultures play Leeds Festival!

so here's a top-tip for Saturday if you're at Reading!

Them Crooked Vultures - the "supergroup" featuring Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age, Kyuss, Eagles of Death Metal), bassist and keyboardist John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) and drummer Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Scream, Probot) - played a 'secret set' of about 40 minutes at Leeds festival today.

They played at around 4pm, in the Radio 1 tent after Patrick Wolf. Surprisingly - particularly as it was raining heavily at the time and the tent offered shelter - the tent was only about half-full. Had people known about it, it would have surely been rammed.

While it's not confirmed, eFestivals expects them to also play at Reading Festival tomorrow (Saturday) in the same tent at around the same time, as there's a similar gap in the running order which gives them time to play.

We'll have reviews and photos from both Reading and Leeds Festival online early next week as normal, as well as reviews and videos of some performances from Reading not too long after they happen.
