Reading and Leeds confirm there will be no box office this year

Festival Republic, promoters of Reading & Leeds Festivals, have today stated that there will be no Box Office at either site at this year's event, and released arrival information for those attending the festival.

For the first time this year there will be no ticket sales at all on site at Reading and Leeds and anyone without a ticket is strongly advised not to come to the site. Anyone without a valid ticket will not be admitted to the festival site.

This year's Reading and Leeds Festival is completely sold out. Highlights from the festival will be broadcast throughout the weekend on BBC Radio 1.

INFORMATION FOR READING ARRIVALS:
Only people with a weekend ticket in addition to an early entry ticket will be able to get on site from 6pm on Wednesday 26th August. If you have a weekend ticket but do not have an early entry ticket, please do not arrive at the festival before 8am on Thursday 27th August. There is no comfortable waiting area or facilities for anyone arriving too early. The festival site is based adjacent to a main road and so please bear your safety, festival staff's safety and the safety of the road users in mind. Please do not arrive earlier than your ticket permits. If you do not have a ticket, please do not come to the site.

INFORMATION FOR LEEDS ARRIVALS:
Only people with a weekend ticket in addition to an early entry ticket will be able to get on site from 2pm on Wednesday 26th August. If you have a weekend ticket but do not have an early entry ticket, please do not arrive at the festival before 3am on Thursday 27th August. Please do not arrive earlier than your ticket permits. If you do not have a ticket, please do not come to the site.

The festivals have headliners of Kings Of Leon (Reading Friday/Leeds Sunday), Arctic Monkeys (Reading Saturday/Leeds Friday), and Radiohead (Reading Sunday/Leeds Saturday), with other acts including Kaiser Chiefs, Placebo, The Prodigy, Maximo Park, Ian Brown, Bloc Party, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Vampire Weekend, Gossip, Glasvegas, and many more.

The festival will feature a full line-up of over 150 acts over the bank holiday weekend accros six stages from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th August.

Reading Festival takes place at Little Johns Farm, Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, and Leeds Festival takes place at Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire.
