Levellers, and Dreadzone have been confirmed for next year's Wychwood Festival which has announced details of their early bird ticket offer alongside the first confirmed acts for the 2010 festival.

Levellers
Wychwood has listened to feedback from fans which revealed the bands that they most wanted to make a return to the site at Cheltenham Racecourse, Gloucestershire are the Levellers, and Dreadzone. The festival has listened and announced today that both return to Wychwood in 2010.

Levellers are confirmed for the Friday night headline slot. Dreadzone will play on the Main Stage on Sunday night. Also making a return to the festival will be Adrian Edmondson & The Bad Shepherds who after their crowded set in the Big Top this year, will be making a return to the festival this time on the mainstage.

The organisers have also announced that early bird tickets for Wychwood 2010 will be on sale from 10am this coming Monday 24th August 2009. Better, still is the news that early bird tickets can be reserved now and the festival will not take payment for them until Tuesday 1st December, helping purchasers to budget for their payment.

Adult weekend tickets will be priced at an early bird price of £95 (full price £110), early bird concession weekend tickets are priced at £70, a saving of £15, and early bird 10-15 year old weekend tickets are priced at £40 (full price £50) with all children aged under 10 able to attend for free.

The box office lines will open at 10am on Monday 24th August, and following a record number of sales for 2010 at this year's festival, tickets will be strictly limited. The Box Office number is 01993 772580.

This year Wychwood will be introducing a small charge for camping for the concession and adult tickets, however if bought during the offer ticket holders will be paying less than the full price ticket in 2009. Under 16s camp for free. Wychwood will offer the usual quality of campsite facilities and in 2010 the showers will be free.

Wychwood is a festival not only of music, but crammed full of other things to see and do, from comedy to cinema, and from workshops to the healing gardens. They already have a number of special things lined up for 2010.

Returning in 2010 will be the Roald Dahl Museum and Storytelling Centre with more Roald Dahl stories and fun making. The first of next year's Children's Literary Festival confirmations is the Ian Whybrow, author of the 'Harry & The Dinosaurs' series of books. This year, the best part of a million copies of Harry and the Bucketful of Dinosaurs will be distributed free to children starting school across the country through the Booktime programme.

The festival has also announced that they will be welcoming the English National Ballet to their workshops programme in 2010. Expect inspiring dance activities for budding ballerinas of all ages and abilities based around their 2010 repertoire including 'Swan Lake' and 'Cinderella' - more details to follow in the coming months.

Wychwood Festival aims to build on the success of the first five years, and returns on Friday 4th to Sunday 6th June in 2010, it's very family-friendly, intimate and inclusive for audience and musician alike. The music programme blends world, roots and contemporary music, and encourages new collaborations.
