Eleven more DJs, bands and acoustic acts have been announced for Scotland's Wizard Festival happening on August bank holiday weekend.

Wizard's new additions include BBC radio Scotland broadcaster Tom Morton, and Bruce & Jamie Watson. Bruce was one of the founding members of Big Country, and alongside his son Jamie, the pair will play guitar based Celtic tinged blues.

Also confirmed today is Aberdeen's DJ Andy Duguid, rappers Shy & DRS, and SNAFU regular DJ Cheynie.

Glasgow based indie four piece Hip Parade, metallers Virginmarys, 10 piece ska outfit Bombskare, Celtic rockers Sons o the Soil, Gerry Jablonski, and Counterfeit Cash complete the latest names added to this year's line-up.

Roy Thain, Wizard Festival organiser said, "As promised to our fans we have mixed the music bill up this year to include something for everyone's taste. With rappers, DJ's and blues and rock outfits all added to the programme, we are really pleased that we have booked some really fabulous and diverse musicians to perform at this year's event. Our three stages are going to be buzzing this year with entertainment and great music. We think the fans are going to be really impressed with the quality of performers we have managed to attract to the festival for 2009."

Headlining on Friday are Levellers, with support from The Beat, Red Hot Chilli Pipers, and King Voodoo. Saturday headliners will be The Charlatans, with Buzzcocks, and The Travelling Band in support. Other acts include Vic Galloway, Proud Mary, and Celtallica. More acts will be announced shortly.
