My Bloody Valentine to curate ATP - Nightmare Before Christmas

My Bloody Valentine have been announced as the curators of this December's All Tomorrows Parties - Nightmare Before Christmas.

The first acts have also been announced to join the legendary sonic sculptors who were the inaugural curators for ATP New York, they are Sonic Youth, De La Soul, EPMD, Sun Ra Arkestra, and The Horrors.

Tickets for All Tomorrows Parties - Nightmare Before Christmas which will be held from Friday 4th until Sunday 6th December 2009 at Butlins Resort, Minehead, Somerset will go on-sale this Friday 17th April at 9:00am and eFestivals will have links for you to buy them then.

For one week the organisers have decided to offer a special reduced price on a limited allocation of tickets. Everyone purchasing tickets for seven days, until 9:00am on Friday 24th April, or until the allocation runs out will receive £20 off their ticket price. That means a room only ticket will be priced at £130 and a self catering room ticket will be £140.

When the first allocation runs out or for 7 days from Friday 24th April until Friday 1st May tickets will be offered at £10 off face value. So instead of paying £150 for a room only ticket you will pay £140 and instead of paying £160 for a self catering ticket you will pay £150.

ATP will again be running a deposit scheme for tickets. This will offer a limited number of 4 berth apartments, both room-only and self-catering to be paid for with a small deposit upfront, and the remaining amount to be paid by the end of July. These chalets will be sold at full price - £150 per person room only or £160 per person self catered.

People who would like to hold a 4 berth room only, must pay a deposit of £50 per person, (£200 for the apartment). The remaining £430 must be paid by Friday 31st July.

People who would like to hold a 4 berth self catering, must pay a deposit of £60 per person, (£240 for the apartment). The remaining £430 must be paid by Friday 31st July.

All tickets include a 3-day festival pass and 3 nights accommodation. Ticket includes performances starting from mid-afternoon, with around 40 acts set to play live across the weekend. There are four pubs and DJ sets through till late.

Butlins Minehead looks out across a sandy beach. The site is equipped with a supermarket, newsagent, cash points and restaurants. Onsite facilities include an ATP programmed cinema, Splash Water World - a sub-tropical environment that has a wave pool, a swimming pool, 3 flumes and also a flume based raft ride - Ten-pin bowling and amusement arcade. Sports include Archery, Football, Basketball, Darts, Petanque, Fencing, Kwik Cricket, Netball, Rounders, Table Tennis, Outdoor Bowls and Crazy Golf.
