The Wailers, and Athlete lead the latest announcements for this year's GuilFest.

The Wailers who together with former lead singer Bob Marley, became the most legendary reggae group of all time will bring their unique flavour of Dub/Reggae to the GuilFest Main Stage, supporting Happy Mondays on Sunday 12th July.

Critically acclaimed indie act Athlete will be bringing to GuilFest their emotionally charged, sing-along ballads like 'Wires' and material from their forthcoming album, expected to coincide with their appearance on the Main Stage on Saturday 11th July.

Also announced today as 2nd Stage headliners are Nouvelle Vague who will have the crowds singing along with their cool French tinged covers of punk classics on Friday night.

Also announced for the second stage playing on the Friday night will be Dublin-born rockabilly diva Imelda May.

Today's announcement is completed by the news that dance masters Eat Static will be bringing their space alien techno to GuilFest's Funky End dance Tent as headliners on Friday 10th July.

These are the latest acts joining the (previously announced) line-up of Motorhead, Brian Wilson (of The Beach Boys), Happy Mondays and The Charlatans at GuilFest 2009 which happens over the weekend of Friday 10th until Sunday 12th July, in Stoke Park, Guildford. GuilFest will offer music over seven stages with more acts to be announced over the next few weeks along with the line-ups for both the comedy and theatre tent.

Tickets are priced at £100 for an adult weekend, and £110 for a weekend with camping. Tickets for children between 12 and 16 years old are priced at £50 for the weekend, or £60 for weekend with camping. N.B. Children aged between 12 – 16 years must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged under 12 have free entry with a ticket holding adult.
