Moby to headline the tenth anniversary of Wakestock

Moby has been announced as the first headliner for Wakestock, the wakeboard music festival.

American DJ, singer-songwriter and musician Moby will headline the 10th anniversary of Wakestock. He recently returned to the studio to work his next full length album. He's been writing it for the better part of a year, and hopes to release the album in June. As well as revealing his new material the famous vegan is sure to have a set which includes hits such as 'Go', 'Feeling So Real', 'Honey', 'Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad', and 'We Are All Made of Stars'.'

Joining Moby at Abersoch, North Wales will be Liverpudlians glam rockers The Zutons who appear at for the second time after packing out the main arena in 2006.

Completing the line-up announcement are the rising drum and bass electro dubstep duo Chase & Status featuring Plan B, and up and coming quintet Red Light Company whose debut album 'Fine Fascination' is due for release next month.

Wakestock is Europe's largest wakeboard music festival which happens from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th July with free-to-watch wakeboarding by day and music by night. The festival site is right next to the beach, and as well as featuring a competition for the wakeboard title, there will be live bands and DJ's as well as food stalls, bars, stalls, and a funfair.

Early bird tickets were on sale and sold out quickly. Single night tickets and more weekend tickets will be available on Tuesday 3rd March, 2009, and eFestivals will have links to buy them then.

A weekend ticket will be priced at £90, and with camping £115. A campervan ticket will be priced at £50. Car park tickets are priced at £5 per vehicle in advance or £10 per vehicle on the day. A single night tickets will be available priced at £40.
