Madstock - Madness' own festival - is to return next summer after an 11 year break!, just as eFestivals revealed it would here.

Madness
Happening in London's Victoria Park on Friday 17th July, Madstock last happened in 1998. It returns next year, thirty years since the band released their first single on the Two Tone label, 'The Prince'. A new album titled 'The Liberty Of Norton Folgate' will be released in May of this year.

This, the first Madstock of the new century, will feature a full supporting cast, and follows their sold out Christmas 2008 tour. Lead singer Suggs is looking forward to what is sure to be one of the biggest shows of the summer, "Madstock for us is musically, socially and geographically our homecoming. There is no other day like it, for us, our families and for the people that come to see us."

Tickets are on sale, priced at £35.
