San Francisco's turntablist legend DJ Qbert, is one of the latest additions to the BLOC Weeekend line-up. The DJ rose to fame with the supergroup Invisibl Skratch Piklz (with D-Styles, Yogafrog, MixMaster Mike, and Shortkut). The group reigned supreme at the Disco Mixing Club (DMC) World Championship, taking its title three years in a row. They were so dominant at the event that they were asked to abstain from further competitions.
Joining him on the bill is Otto von Shirach. The German DJ will be joining Modeselektor on stage as well as performing in his own right on the Overkill stage.

BLOC Weekend has moved from Norfolk to the Somerset Butlins Holiday Camp. The new site offers self-catered heated chalet accommodation, with ensuite and are equipped with beds, kitchen, showers and all mod cons.
Butlins, Minehead is equipped with a supermarket, newsagent, cash points and restaurants. Onsite facilities include a Splash Water World - a sub-tropical environment that has a wave pool, a swimming pool, 3 flumes and also a flume based raft ride, plus ten-pin bowling and an amusement arcade.
Tickets are priced at £125 per person and bookings are done per chalet. Tickets have to be bought in groups of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 according to the size of the apartment wanted. 'Self-Catering' apartments have a kitchen and a separate living room, and 'Room-Only' apartments do not.
