Hinterland, a new multi-venue indoor festival that will happen in Glasgow on Thursday 30th April and Friday 1st May has announced the first 30 acts.

The initial list consists of 20 Scottish bands. The organisers are keen to ensure that around 50% of the final line-up is Scottish so that local talent gets showcased.

Hinterland founder Mike Oman said: "The interest in Hinterland from the industry has been phenomenal. Our committee members have been instrumental in helping us find some of the best underground talent Scotland has to offer. I'm very proud that 20 of the first 30 bands we have confirmed are Scottish. Over the coming weeks we'll be announcing some nationally recognised acts that will make Hinterland tickets worth their weight in gold."

The first 30 confirmed acts are: 85 Bears, Brother Louis Collective, Come on Gang!, Copy Haho, Dananananaykroyd, Edie Sedgwick, Fangs, Findo Gask, Galchen, Geordi La Force, Hudson Mohawke, Isosceles, Lesser Panda, Manda Rin, Micachu, Mitchell Museum, My Tiger My Timing, Oh, Atoms, Pearl and the Puppets, Pulled Apart By Horses, Punch & The Apostles, Tommy Reilly, Remember Remember, Rustie, The Xcerts, These Monsters, Three Trapped Tigers, We Have Band, We Were Promised Jetpacks, and Zoey Van Goey.
