Carl Craig to close BLOC Weekend

There are more acts confirmed for BLOC Weekend which brings three days of electronic music to Butlins Holiday Camp, Minehead, Somerset from Friday 13th until Sunday 15th March.

Detroit DJ and producer Carl Craig has been announced as the Sunday night headliner. There has also been a number of additions to the line-up including in the Dublime Arena Scientist aka Hopeton Brown who will be bringing his Dub show to BLOC. Also added for that arena are Digital Mystikz, Kode 9, Tipper, Mad Professor, an exclusive live debut by Rusko, Ed Rush and Optical, Plastician, Zion Train (live), and Pole (live).

New additions to the Tilted Disco Arena include a live show from Rob Hood (live), plus James Ruskin, Redshape (live), and Steve Strawberry & Alex Downey.

There are also acts confirmed for the Subloaded Arena curated by DJ Pinch are Appleblim, 256 (live), Vex'd, Peveralist, Joker back to back with Blazey, hosted by MC SGT Pokes.

They join a line-up which already includes The Future Sound of London, as another headliner, Lee 'Scratch' Perry, Jamie Lidell, Afrika Bambaataa, and Frequency 7 featuring Ben Sims and DJ Surgeon. For the line-up details as available please click here.

BLOC Weekend has moved from Norfolk to the Somerset Butlins Holiday Camp. The new site offers self-catered heated chalet accommodation, with ensuite and are equipped with beds, kitchen, showers and all mod cons.

Butlins, Minehead is equipped with a supermarket, newsagent, cash points and restaurants. Onsite facilities include a Splash Water World - a sub-tropical environment that has a wave pool, a swimming pool, 3 flumes and also a flume based raft ride, plus ten-pin bowling and an amusement arcade.

Tickets for BLOC weekend are priced at £125 per person and bookings are done per chalet. Tickets have to be bought in groups of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 according to the size of the apartment wanted. 'Self-Catering' apartments have a kitchen and a separate living room, and 'Room-Only' apartments do not. To buy tickets, click here.
