The organizers of the Hellfire Festival which was due to happen on Friday 31st October and Saturday 1st November have announced that this year's festival has had to be rescheduled due to the sudden closure of the venue, Clapham Grand in London.

The site has been bought by a South African company who has closed it with immediate effect for a complete refit. The organisers of Hellfire are very disappointed by the news as the Saturday of the event was almost entirely sold out.

The festival organisers have already agreed a rescheduled date with the new owners and will be expanding the festival to a three day event. The Hellfire Festival will still feature breaking British Metal acts, and the extra night will feature a special guest headline performance from an American touring band who will be announced shortly.

The new dates for the Hellfire Festival will now be three days from Saturday 21st until Monday 23rd February 2009.

It is unknown if the line-up will remain the same as the 2008 event. There will be confirmation on the line-up shortly.

Anyone wishing to obtain refunds should contact their point of purchase; existing tickets will be valid for the new dates.
