Liverpool Music Week which takes place across 16 venues in Liverpool from Thursday 30th October until Thursday 6th November 08 have announced the acts for this year's free show agenda.

Noah And The Whale
The new acts include Noah & The Whale, Wiley, Sway, The Maybes, John Power, Eugene McGuinness, Sonny J, Soweto Kinch, The Holloways, Gideon Conn, and Peter and the Wolf.

They join the previously confirmed acts who are Goldfrapp, Dizzee Rascal, Black Kids, The Fall, Martha Wainwright, Angus & Julius Stone, Ladyhawke, Magistrates, Newham Generals, Smurfie Syco, Chromeo, and the Bestival Reunion Tour featuring Mystery Jets, The Presets, Kissy Sell Out, Sombrero Soundsystem, Cuban Brothers, and Rob Da Bank and an already sold-out show with Vampire Weekend.

Liverpool Music Week features music from every genre imaginable including indie, rock, electronic, funk, soul, latin, nu wave, jazz, and world music and this year is no different. There will be over 50 events, at 16 venues and over 250 live bands showcased and there's still plenty of acts to be announced over the coming weeks.

As well as staging a huge agenda of live music events, Liverpool Music Week will also be running a series of panels and seminars featuring some of the UK's music industry movers & shakers who will come together to discuss issues and opportunities within the sector and to offer advice and support to a range of related music businesses, artists and individuals with a desire to enter the music industry.
