confirmed as the Saturday night headliner

Loopallu which takes place on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th September at the picturesque location of Ullapool, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland have announced that the Saturday night headliner will be Echo & the Bunnymen.

The Eighties indie band fronted by Ian McCulluch are due to celebrate their 30th anniversary later in the year and are expected to showcase some of their new material from the forthcoming album 'The Fountain' as well as their classic hits 'The Cutter', 'The Killing Moon', and 'Seven Seas'.

The Levellers have previously been confirmed as headlining the Friday night, with King Creosote, The Rascals, The Red Hot Chilli Pipers, and 3 Daft Monkeys. For the line-up details as available please click here.

Tickets are on sale, priced at £50, with camping £15 extra. Under-12s are free, though everyone under 16 needs to be accompanied by an adult. To buy tickets, click here.

Situated in the pretty little fishing village of Ullapool on the shores Loch Broom Loopallu has activities for all ages in addition to the music. The festival offers local food and drink along with fringe events throughout the village.
