tickets go on sale for Summer Sundae Weekender 2009

A limited number of super early bird tickets for the ninth Summer Sundae Weekender held at De Montfort Hall, Leicester have gone on sale for the festival which is confirmed as happening from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th August 2009.

The 'Super Early Bird' tickets are on sale priced at £90 for an adult ticket or £95 for an adult ticket with camping. To book tickets, click here.

This year's Summer Sundae Weekender has only just drawn to a close and saw more than 100 acts play over three days including a show stealing performance by the headliner Macy Gray who treated fans to a cover of Radiohead's 'Creep'. eFestivals will have full reviews and photographs online shortly from this year's event.

This year festival goers turned up in numbers to enjoy the Thursday pre-festival Fringe events too, including a late night Lisa Lashes headlining set. The entertainment continued right through the weekend and into the early hours of yesterday with the Simian Mobile Disco ending the festival on a high.

Ticket sales this year were up on last year, and with another jam-packed weekend of music and entertainment expected next year, it's highly recommended that festival goers take advantage of this chance to get tickets at this special limited offer price.
