Scotland's Wizard Festival which takes place at Peterhead, Aberdeenshire have announced more acts for the festival which runs from the Friday 22nd until Saturday 23rd August.

The latest confirmed acts include the Isle of Skye's The Peatbog Faeries, who play traditional music with a dance twist and organiser Roy Thain stated his delight at securing the band, "We want music for all at Wizard so a band like the Peatbog faeries add a brilliant new dimension to our bill. It's about staying close to the roots of traditional music in the North East but also giving the audience something a little different."

Joining the Celtic dance outfit on the bill is Scotland's tribute to Pink Floyd MacFloyd, Glasgow based indie five piece The Haze, folk rock duo Honey Ryder, ambient electro poppers Kyte, rising Aberdeen stars Edgar Prais, and Exeter based three piece The Xcerts.

The three stages Voodoo, Banshee and Acoustic Stages will welcome established headliners, emerging local bands and everything in-between. The first two nights headliners are confirmed as Supergrass, and the Damned on Friday and Alabama 3 on Saturday. Other acts include The Amigos, Dreadzone, McCusker/Drever/Woomble, Proud Mary, The Cinematics and Chris Helme with many more to come in the next few months.
