Levellers, and 3 Daft Monekys are Loopallu bound

Loopallu which takes place on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th September has announced the first acts for the festival which happens at the picturesque location of Ullapool, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland.

The Levellers have been confirmed as headlining the Friday night. Fife's King Creosote will be making his debut appearance at Loopallu's Big Top. Joining them on the bill are Liverpudlians The Rascals, The Red Hot Chilli Pipers, and Cornwall's 3 Daft Monkeys.

Loopallu has also confirmed that Janice Long (BBC Radio 2) will make a return to the festival as their compare.

'Early bird' tickets are on sale, priced at £50, with camping £15 extra. Under-12s are free, though everyone under 16 needs to be accompanied by an adult. To buy tickets, click here.

Situated in the pretty little fishing village of Ullapool on the shores Loch Broom Loopallu has activities for all ages in addition to the music. The festival offers local food and drink along with fringe events throughout the village.
