The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster step in to headline 2000 Trees

replacing Reuben on the Friday

Two Thousand Trees, has announced the replacement for Reuben who have cancelled all their forthcoming performances and gone on hiatus.

The brand new headline band The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster will close the opening day of the festival which takes place from Friday 11th & Saturday 12th July at Upcote Farm near Cheltenham.

The gothic psychobilly rockers, from Brighton, stepped in after the shock announcement that previous headliners Reuben had pulled out of all tour dates until further notice.

Andy Rea, one of six friends who organises the green and ethical alternative to mainstream music events, said: "We were genuinely gutted that Reuben pulled out of the festival, but we are delighted to announce that the The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster will headline the first night. We think they are a really exciting alternative and will be a great replacement."

The line-up includes Frank Turner, The Duke Spirit, Little Lost David, Pete Taylor, Kat Flint, The Blisters, KTB, Skankt, Tubelord, Souljacker, Oxygen Thief, Ashowka, Moles and Skylarks, Joe Summers, Josh Bray, A Silent Film, Future of the Left, The King Blues, The Ghost of a Thousand, Imperial Leisure, The Anomolies, In Case of Fire, and more. Organisers also say that festival tickets are nearly all gone. An adult weekend ticket is priced at £39, youth tickets (10-15yrs) are £20 and Under 10's get in for free. Early entry permit (from 4pm Thursday July 10th) - £4, a joint ticket with the Y-Not festival is offered at the price of £55 and a coach travel ticket (Return ticket: London – 2000trees) is £40.
