As well as loads of comedy, spoken world, a new jazz and world stage, lots of site art and many new areas there's plenty of catering and the normal facilities you'd expect at a festival. There is also more theatre including a new space 'thisispopbaby' where debauched glamour, fairy tale excess and fun is the name of the game. Each day the glittery lounge will mix a kitsch Never Never Land and a raunchy Pop Art Palace. Featuring very special guest star Panti, Queen of the Picnic, it will culminate every night with a Frock 'n' Roll drag show and a down 'n' dirty PopClub.

This year the Electric Picnic introduce a Family Ticket which will permit access for two adults and up to four children and a new specially designated Family Campsite. Families can also download a small booklet outlining children's activities and programmes as well as useful information on family camping, baby changing facilities, showers, toilets, etc. The "Children's Festival" will have its own area and reception for babies, toddlers and children up to 12. It will be programmed with all sorts of creative workshops, kids yoga, chill out space for parents, and games.

There will be no single day tickets on sale. Weekend Tickets are priced at €240. A Family Camping Ticket is €480 for 2 adults and up to 4 kids under 12 which includes access to designated Family Campsite. Campervan Tickets for access to Campervan Park are €60.
