Also confirmed as making an appearance at the Scottish festival held at Inveraray Castle are Ethan Kath and Alice Glass AKA Crystal Castles, chosen by curators Optimo to play the Unknown Pleasures Tent on Friday.

Dark Mancunian electro-pop four piece The Whip have been added to the main 'Oyster' stage bill and will be playing on Friday. Completing the list of newly added talent is Friendly Fires who will appear on the Guitars and Other Machines stage on Saturday.

These newly confirmed artists join a line-up consisting of Kasabian, Franz Ferdinand, Sigur Ros, Paulo Nutini, Spiritualized, Manic Street Preachers, Bloc Party, Goldfrapp, Conor Oberst & The Magic Valley Band, The Gutter Twins, Duffy, Joan As Policewoman, Gossip, Nick Cave's Grinderman, Amy MacDonald, Elbow, The Gossip, Howling Bells, Mercury Rev, The Coral (Acoustic), Roots, The Breeders, Levellers, and Camera Obscura, Sia and more.
