Hydro Connect festival which takes over the weekend of Friday 29th to Sunday 31st August have revealed the day splits for the festival held at Inveraray Castle, Loch Fyne, Argyll, Scotland.

This year the capacity of the Unknown Pleasures Tent has been extended to provide entertainment all day long effectively taking over from last year's Manicured Noise Stage. All entertainment within the tent will be curated by Optimo (Friday) Soma (Saturday) and Slam with late night entertainment coming from Vegas and Club Noir. Soma have already announced that Dave Clarke will be playing a rare electro set on the Saturday.

This Sunday (1st June) will also see the announcement of the 20 acts chosen to play the Your Sound Bandstand at the festival thanks to funding made available by the Scottish Arts Council Youth Music Initiative.

Hydro Connect festival director Geoff Ellis says, "The line-up is looking really special and I am excited about some of the recent additions like Conor Oberst & The Mystical Valley Band, Dave Clarke who will perform a rare electro set, Joan As Policewoman and Stephen Malkmus. Plus we still have some more really exciting names to add over the coming weeks. I thought at launch time we announced some particularly strong headline acts that will go down a storm at the festival but you can't really get a proper feel for a line-up until you add all of the other bands around the headliners and the additional entertainment."
