The Green Man Festival which takes place from Friday 15th to Sunday 17th August in the Brecon Beacons, Powys, Wales have announced a host of new acts they have added to the line-up.

Added to the welsh festival's bill are Make Model, Grand Archives, 9 Bach, Simone White, Babel, Fuck Buttons, The War on Drugs, Emmy The Great, Cate Le Bon, Mumford and Sons, Lou Rhodes, The Burning Leaves, Mary Hampton, Essie Jain, Jacob Golden, Pamela Wyn Shannon, Little Wings, Pete Molinari, City Reverb, Jane Weaver, and The Gentle Good.

They will all be playing alongside a line-up including Spiritualized as the Friday headliner, Super Furry Animals the Saturday headliner, Richard Thompson and Howlin' Rain (featuring members of Comets On Fire and Sunburned Hand of the Man), Devon Sproule, Black Mountain, The National, Nina Nistasia,School Of Language and Pentangle amongst a host of other names. Returning this year will be the campfire ceilidhs, a second stage and DJ tent. The festival will be remaining the same size as in 2007, at 10,000 people. The festival offers plenty of live music with lots of folk and folktronica bands, plus film, literature, workshop and children's areas, and DJs.

Tickets are priced at £105 for the weekend including on-site camping and parking, with children aged 12 and under free. Live-in vehicles are an additional £35. Click here to buy.
