Reading and Leeds festivals have announced the latest addition to the line-ups for the twin festival taking place on the bank holiday weekend, from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th August.

The Last Shadow Puppets have been confirmed as playing the NME/Radio One Stage on Friday 22nd August at Leeds Festival and Sunday 24th August at Reading Festival. The band will be co-headliners playing prior to the previously announced headline set from The Cribs.

The project of Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner and The Rascals' Miles Kane have yet to confirm any further live shows so these performances will be the first chance for fans to hear the band perform live.

These are just the latest addition to a line-up of over 150 acts over the weekend on six stages. The Main Stage sees Rage Against The Machine, The Killers, and Metallica headlining. Plus Queens Of The Stone Age, The Fratellis, The Enemy, Biffy Clyro, Bloc Party, The Raconteurs, Editors, Tenacious D, Slipknot, Feeder, Avenged Sevenfold, Dropkick Murphys, Babyshambles, The Wombats, Vampire Weekend, Manic Street Preachers, Bullet For My Valentine, The Cribs, and Pendulum.
