The Glade Festival 2008 which takes at a secret site has announced more acts for the weekend of Friday 18th to Sunday 20th July.

First up is The Orb in full live effect on the Sunday evening. New musical force Ulrich Shnauss is added to the bill on the Glade stage. New additions also include Red Snapper, with their funk driven cinematic excellence and the Reggae tinged party sound of Overproof Sound System.

Purveyors of the hardcore-electro Jackal & Hyde from the US are doing Breaksday. Claude Von Stroke and Mark Broom are booked for the Vapor Stage along with Mr Mills and co. with Pitch Black appearing on the Liquid Stage.

The Glade Stage will be headlined by Dubfire and Pendulum with other artists appearing over the weekend including James Holden, System 7, Dub Pistols, Gaudi Live Dub Laboratory, Utah Saints, Subgiant, Jeff Mills, Ace Ventura, Plump DJs, Aquasky, Elite Force and many more. For the line-up details and stage splits as available please click here.

Tickets are on sale priced at £125.00 with camper van/caravan tickets £45.00. To buy tickets click here.

The Glade has around ten music areas, so there are still more names to come yet. The stages cover many genres from techno, house, breaks, psy trance, dub, ambient and more. Expect the stages to open each day by early afternoon, and to run into the early hours.

The details of the site will only be revealed to ticket holders. Expect full camping facilities, car park, licenced bars open until late, food stalls and markets, and more besides.

The organisers are determined to stop touting, so a name and address must be supplied for each ticketholder, and ID will be required at the gate.
