GuilFest has revealed more acts for the festival which happens from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th July 2008 at the idyllic location of Stoke Park, Guilford in Surrey.

Newly confirmed for Saturday are feel good summer act Dodgy, and eclectic musicians and former members of The Beta Band The Aliens who bring their psychedelic rock electronica. Plus crazy Texan punks Bowling for Soup, and finally the magical Richie Havens will be wowing crowds with his soulful, ageless songs.

Sunday is going to be a right old party! The original goth punks The Damned and the dub reggae masters Dreadzone will will both be making a welcome return to GuilFest.

Blondie will headline on Saturday 5th July. The Australian Pink Floyd Show will be bringing the festival to a close on Sunday. Other acts confirmed include Kula Shaker, From the Jam, Cerys Mathews, and Freak Power.

The line-up on the main two stages will be further filled with more classic and modern acts, more than 200 in all will be announced for what will be a truly fantastic weekend. Unlike some other festivals, you can immediately feel that this festival is being run to give everyone a great time, rather than to get rich quick!

There will also be a late licensed 150 foot bar and a cocktail bar, an extensive children’s area, The KidZone.

The Kidzone is packed full of games, stilt walking, balloon modelling, face painting and drawing. On the Sunday it's over to the children for the annual Kids Parade, where the children get to show the rest of the festival what they have made over their weekend.
