Bristol's Vennfestival has announced it's full line-up for this year's four day event which happens from Thursday 5th until Sunday 8th June.

The latest acts confirmed include Andy Clarkson, Arnaud Rebotini, Artamonova, Banjo Or Freakout, Black Devil, Blazey, Campari Safari, Chew Magna, Chris Cundy, Corey Orbison, Damien Schneider, Dirty Electronics Ensemble, DJ Fett, Ergo Phizmiz, Evil Kitty DJs, Flying Lotus, Hammerfest by I Am The Mighty Jungulator & Stephen Ireland, The Heads, The Heliocentrics, Joanie Lemercie (Anti VJ), Joe Hart, Koen Holtkamp, Lazerboy, Nancy Elizabeth, Pausal, Philip Jeck, Pole, Punksi, Rollin Hunt, Simon Whetham, Tight Fit, Twocsinak, Uberdog, and The Wailingest Cats.

Highlights amongst this year's line-up, which features nearly 70 acts of all manner of musical types, include the previously announced colourful conceptual electronics and Bjork collaborators Matmos, psychedelic rock/poetical hip hoppers Why?, minimalist club-dub maestro Moritz Von Oswald (Basic Channel), the old-meets-new English folk wonderment of Rachel Unthank & The Winterset, blistering jazz/noise-embracing deep funk troupe The Heliocentrics (DJ Shadow’s backing band!), and 'Century FC' which is an ambitious, specially commissioned project involving maverick vocal improviser Phil Minton and a 100-strong civilian choir.

Expect a round-the-clock programme of diverse gigs, sessions, workshops and broadcasts, taking place inside and out. The festival usually makes use of a wide range of small and medium sized venues, workspaces, empty shops and larger public spaces throughout the Stokes Croft district.

Venn 08 retains much the same format as previous years but expands to incorporate a host of unlikely new venues and contexts. Events will unfold in planetariums, scout huts, skate parks and other spots around the city, as Venn maintains its resolve to find fun new ways to flip the urban festival format.

There are a limited number of three day passes available priced at £28 with day tickets available soon. To buy 3 day tickets at the super discount price click here.
