The fifth Get Loaded in the Park London's definitive inner city festival is happening on Bank Holiday Sunday 24th August 2008 at Clapham Common has announced this year's headline act who are Iggy & The Stooges.

Supporting Iggy and Co. on the main stage will be Supergrass and Gogol Bordello.

Whilst on this year's XFM Stage their will be appearances by Kate Nash, Reverend And The Makers, The Maccabees, and Ipso Facto.

The Time Out Stage will play host to Gossip, Soulwax Nite Versions, The Presets, Boys Noize, and Mylo (DJ set).

Get Loaded in the Park has four stages and has DJs playing between the main stage acts. The event started off as a giant indie disco back in 2004 to celebrate the return of baggy legends Happy Mondays back into the live circuit.

There is expected to be a second announcement later this week and tickets for Get Loaded in the Park will go on sale this Thursday 17th April, probably at a special early bird offer price and eFestivals will have links for you to buy them then.
