Making her only UK festival appearance in 2008, Grace Jones, renown for her looks, attitude and disco hits has been announced as the first headliner for The Secret Garden Party held from Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th July at a picturesque location in the East Anglian countryside, near Huntingdon.

Joining the 'Slave To The Rhythm' will be Sons & Daughters, Glasvegas, Envy & Other Sins, Alphabeat, Morcheeba, Little Ones, Florence & The Machine, Infadels, Cage The Elephant, Officer Kicks, Married To The Sea, Elle S'appelle, Atomic Hooligan, and 'Special Secret Guests'.

The line-up continues with Hi 5 Alive, Eight Legs, Beep Seals, Alexander Wolfe, Cass Lowe, Thomas Tantrum, Lacrosse, Shout Out Louds, Asteroids Galaxy Tour, Bonde Do Role, The Wallbirds, FrYars, Fanfarlo, Sunny Day Sets Fire, Jay Jay Pistolet, Losers, Autokratz, Alex Metric, Juxta, Precious RGB, Lowline, The Shoes, Eddy Temple Morris, Eclectic Method, Dennis Jones, 2Many Wedding DJs, and Ali B with other acts still to be announced, including the two other headliners.

Set in 10 acre landscaped garden, bordering a river and lake, The Secret Garden is a garden-party-gone-crazy; there are tree houses and giant hammocks, mahogany bars and marooned sailors, space-hopper races and lost vicars, Shakespeare round the fire circles, several Elvises and even snail racing! Music wise, expect live and DJ stages.

The Secret Garden Party is founded on creative participation of all kinds, a proper Arts event, with ticket monies spread evenly between musicians, actors, installation artists, healers and public performers. Most importantly it is a party where everyone has the chance to get under the spotlight, from the headline Main Stage act to the hula-hooping eccentric in the setting sun.

Tickets are on sale, priced at £125 for the four days, with the price including all booking and postage fees, parking, camping or live-in vehicles - click here to buy.
