This year the Endorse-It In-Dorset Festival have announced more acts for this year's family friendly old school vibe festival held over the weekend of Friday 8th to Sunday 10th August.

'70s, Brit punk legends Buzzcocks will be bringing their hits including 'Ever Fallen In Love' and 'Orgasm Addict' to Endorse-It this summer. Joining them in the sunshine will be musical mad-cap geniuses and their wealth of instruments Flipron, the old school reggae, ska, blues, and dub mix of Innocent Civilian, and Some Dogs who give country and western covers a punk style overhaul.

Festival goers will also have the chance to skank to some heavy dub roots reggae with dub veterans The Vibronics. Reuben Tyghe brings his alternative Bath based band Port Erin to Dorset. Endorse-It crowds will be able to check out the hotly tipped, lively, lad rockers The Displacements; the soul tinged indie rock of The Thirst; the indie punk of Sara Sanchez's band The Favours. The final addition to the bill is the glorious three piece 'scrumpy & western' local lads Who's Afear'd to liven up crowds with their crazy covers and they describe their music as sounding like "the Cerne Giant and your mum after a gallon of scrumpy in a hedge down Lytchett way!" We can't wait to hear that!

These latest acts swell a line up which is by no means as yet complete, there's another 40ish acts to be announced. To whet your appetite for the line-up of who is playing so far, please click here. There's such festival flavoured names as Back To The Planet, Inner Terrestrials, Dreadzone, The Beat, Pronghorn, Goldblade, Subgiant, Cropdusters, Hobo Jones & The Junkyard Dogs, Imperial Leisure, The Highliners, Fat Drunk & Stupid, and Optic Nerves.

The organisers have also announced a competition for guitar players coming to the festival - The AXE Factor and for those who don't play guitar, but want a chance to get on stage, back by popular demand is the Endorse-It Punk Karaoke, both events have a full band playing on stage.

Endorse-It In-Dorset takes place near the village of Sixpenny Handley in the green open setting of Cranborne Chase, Dorset. The festival is a safe, family friendly old school type of festival, with a reputation for quality entertainment at an affordable price.
