John Digweed, James Zabiela and more to party at 2 day Creamfields

with live acts Deadmau5, and The Whip joining in 10th anniversary celebrations

Creamfields who are celebrating their 10th anniversary have announced more heavy weight global acts to the dance festival bill showcased over the weekend of Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th August (the August Bank Holiday weekend).

Now one of the biggest names in the world of electronic music John Digweed, the mixing wizard at the forefront of DJ innovations James Zabiela, and soulful house maestro and resident DJ at Cream since 2000 Yousef add their illustrious names to the burgeoning bill at this year's outdoor party at 'fields.

John Digweed says, "It is great to see after 10 years Creamfields are still putting on amazing festivals not only in the UK but around the World, featuring some of the best talent in Electronic Music. I am really looking forward to playing on the 10th Anniversary."

Live acts have also been unveiled as more of the latest additions to the bill and performing in front of the crowds at this year's two day event will be eclectic beat monkey Deadmau5 and The Whip with more artists still to be announced.

Electro-pop Manc four piece The Whip add, "Creamfields is THE great dance music festival in the North, we can't wait to play. Us going on before legend Ian Brown on the Radio One stage will tie Manchester 2008 to 1988. Twenty years of Manchester representing!"

As this year Creamfields celebrates ten years the event has been spread over two days for the first time and will host speciality camping where party goers can take a break from the party in tipis, beach huts and even solar powered pod pads in the stunning surroundings of Daresbury Estate, Halton, Cheshire.

The line up celebrating at the Creamfields party includes Paul van Dyk and Tiesto who are playing their only UK date on the same bill at Creamfields as well as Kasabian, Fatboy Slim, Ian Brown, Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Soulwax, Pendulum, Gossip, Simian Mobile Disco, Chic Featuring Nile Rodgers, Roots Manuva, Erick Morillo, Paul Oakenfold, Sasha, David Guetta and 2 Many DJs to name but a few. Day tickets for Creamfields will go on sale on Monday 21st April for those who want to experience Creamfields as its old incarnation as a one day affair. eFestivals will have links for you to buy one day tickets when they go on sale.

Cream has a record-breaking year of events planned with a total of 13 Creamfields festivals happening worldwide. The Cream will host world wide Creamfields in Spain, Russia, Mexico, Brazil, Poland, Czech Republic, Turkey, Chile, Malta, Romania and Argentina.
