Punk rock legends Mick Jones (The Clash) and Tony James (Generation X) latest project Carbon/Silicone have also been added to the bill playing the second stage on the Saturday. They join the previously announced 2008 line-up which sees Crowded House headlining Sunday, KT Tunstall, Beverley Knight, Tom Baxter, Imelda May, The Bangles, 10cc, Toots & The Maytals, Nick Lowe, The Beat, and Half Man Half Biscuit.
Blues comes from Eric Bibb and rapidly rising star Joe Bonamassa. The folk on the bill programmed by Oxford Folk includes Bellowhead, Salsa Celtica, Jaume Toujours, Luke Smith, The Love Trousers, and American new country star, Tift Merritt.
In addition to the music, the festival, now in its fifth year offers a variety of attractions including a fairground, theatre workshops, arts and crafts, speciality shops, novelty acts and upmarket catering offering everything from champagne and cappuccinos to real ale.
