Rock Ness have today confirmed a further 30 new acts for the 2008 line up, and promised even more big names still to be announced over the coming weeks for the two-day festival with camping, happening outside the village of Dores on the shores of Loch Ness in Scotland on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th June.

Topping the new announcements for Saturday, is the confirmation of Soulwax who will perform live, and Scotland's own Mylo who will be joined on the bill by The Count & Sinden (live), Cagedbaby, Hercules & Love Affair, Phat Phil Cooper, The Crystal Method (DJ set), The Lionheart Brothers, Cage The Elephant and Eclectic Method.

Sunday 8 June sees The Orb confirmed as headliners in the Sunday Best arena presented by Rob Da Bank. Joining in the Sunday Best fun will be exclusive performances from Dj Yoda, Yousef and Glasgow's Boom Monk Ben.

Other new acts announced include Boys Noize, Late Of The Pier, Does It Offend You Yeah?, Pendulum with MC Verse DJ Set, Midnight Juggernauts, David E Sugar, Alan Braxe, The Black Ghosts, The Dykeenies, Pete and The Pirates, Das Pop and Jyrojets.

An announcement from the promoters said, "The line up is shaping up really nicely and we still have more top acts to announce over the coming weeks. There’s a good balance between some great indie acts, some exciting new guitar bands and then what's becoming a really exciting DJ and Electronic line up. The Orb are a great addition to Rock Ness and will definitely be one of the highlights as will the return of Mylo and debuts from Pendulum DJs, Midnight Juggernauts and Boys Noize. It's definitely going to be the best Rock Ness ever."

Tickets are on sale priced at £115 for both days with camping, or £100 without camping, with day tickets costing £50 for either day.
