Dance Island unveils first acts for new dance festival in East Anglia

Dance Island 2008, has announced the first set of artists scheduled to appear at this summer's new dance festival, held on Saturday 5th July just outside of Ely, Cambridgeshire.

Mauro Picotto, Agnelli & Nelson, Dave Pearce, Kutski, Andy Farley, K90, Audio Surgery, Ratpack, Slipmatt and the Tidy Boys are just a few of the 50 plus artists set to perform at the festival.

The line-up so far also includes Darren Styles, SY, Hixxy Storm, Whizzkid, Unity, DJ-X, Lab4, Big Ben, Mark Sherry, Mark Doyle, Matt Collins, BeatThiefs, Lee Haslam, JB Project, Dan Stone, Paul Wilkerson, and Mark Hughes.

With the remaining line-up, including two headline artists for the festivals main outdoor stage, due to be announced shortly, the event, which will be set in 120 acres of private land is being billed as East Anglia's biggest electronic music event of the year.

The festival features five huge arenas, a massive outdoor stage, hosting both DJs and live dance acts who will be covering House, Hard Dance, Trance, Hardcore and Old Skool, as well as a fun-fair, a food village, a chill-out area and trade stalls.
