Forgotten Valley announce dance acts and bands for the weekend

New festival Cumbrian Forgotten Valley which takes place between Friday 23rd and Sunday the 25th May and held at Westmorland County Show Ground at the edge of the Lake District has announced the first acts for the line-up who will be playing the dance side of the event.

Record label Ninja Tunes provide their founders Coldcut who will be DJing at Forgotten Valley with support from Qemists, DJ Food and DK, and J Mountain. House sessioners Circus founder Yousef will be bringing his Liverpool party vibes to Cumbria along with his special guest Claude Von Stroke. Leed's Back2Basics crew and founder Dave Beer will be joined by Ivan Smagghe and Ralph Lawson, along to entertain the crowds. Festival organisers also say to look out for sets from Uber DJs and Tokyoblu, playing impromptu sets and secret parties too.

On the live music side of the festival new acts include Reverend and the Makers, The Enemy, Lightspeed Champion, Friendly Fires, Does if Offend You, Yeah?, and The Whip.

The festival has already confirmed Happy Mondays, Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong, New Young Pony Club, The Wombats, Crystal Castles, Teenagers, and Zenfo, with lots more still to be confirmed soon.

The festival has four stages showcasing established acts and breakthrough talent plus there will be late night DJs. Festival goers can also expect themed bars, a 'Gauntlet Village', healing area, kids zone, spotlight and street entertainers. Also confirmed at the festival is the entertainment area Lost Vagueness bringing their eccentric glamour.

Extensive camping and accommodation facilities available. Weekend tickets with camping are available at an early bird price of £80 (for the first 2000) after that they will be £100. Bookings can be made online here.
