As well as the entertainment Camp Bestival has revealed a second stage, the intriguingly named The Insect Circus Stage & Museum which promises mad circus shows and trapeze mania amongst all the music.

Underbling & Vow and their singalong Cockney knees up with Mickey The Fingers on piano and Rosie and Rosie are confirmed as appearing nightly. Cake and cream addicts will be hurrying to join the Dorset Cream Tea Appreciation Society. For kids and adults alike there is Physics In The Field with mini science experiments and physics demos - educational as well as fun!

For the night owls late night unplugged sets are promised at the Campfire Sessions. Talking of fires, Joe Strummer, a self confessed camp fire fanatic will be remembered alongside the charity Strummerville which will be breaking new music, building campfires and bringing a lot of heart and soul to Camp Bestival – see www.strummerville.com for more info.

The headliners are The Flaming Lips, and Chuck Berry, the third headliner is to be announced shortly. The performers already confirmed include Suzanne Vega, Billy Bragg, Kid Creole & the Coconuts, The Cuban Brothers, Florence and The Machine, King Creosote, Ladyhawke, The Wurzels, Fence Records Collective with The Pictish Trail, Found, and Beardyman presents Battlejam.

There's also a comedy stage, films on the castle, theatricals, kids entertainment and more
